The Cavaliers’ superstar said that he knows his team has “to prove it” in the series and that it is up to the fans to decide if he is playing his best basketball or if he has “lost the confidence” of the team.
“I know that I am going to be playing well and I know that the fans are going to see that,” James said after Game 4, adding that he was “going for the win.”
“I’m going to show them why I’m the best player in the world.
We’re going for the championship.
I know we’re going in the best shape of my career, and I think it’s up to me to show that and make sure that we get to the finals and put the fans in a good mood.”
James said that the series against the Raptors is a “battle of wills” that “will go all the way.”
“We’re going into the Finals as a team, so if you don’t come out and win this series and put on your best show, I’m going into Game 5 knowing that it’s not going to happen,” James told reporters.
“We need to prove to everybody that we are going in as a collective team, that we know how to win.
And we’re all coming out there and going after it, and if we don’t do that, I think that we’ll be in trouble.”
In Game 4 of the NBA finals, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers came out firing and went into a fight that resulted in a flagrant foul.
The NBA suspended James for one game.
The Raptors won in overtime.
