The Cleveland Browns have selected Ohio State defensive end Khalil Mack to the team’s draft board, a source told ESPN.
The move comes after the Browns selected the former Alabama star in the second round, according to ESPN.
This is a major coup for Cleveland.
The Browns already had been shopping for a player at the position, but it was unclear whether Mack would be available.
Mack had been a target for the Browns since his time at Alabama, but he never fully recovered from the ACL injury he sustained in 2014.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder also suffered a season-ending ankle injury last year.
Mitch Trubisky, the first quarterback taken in the draft, was traded to the Dallas Cowboys in a deal that sent the franchise quarterback to the Cleveland Browns.
