When WWE returns from its six-week hiatus in August, it will once again be competing in live events on a weekly basis.
This week, WWE will be hosting its weekly Raw on August 20-21, and while there is no official release date yet, a WWE spokesperson told WWN that the show will begin airing on Thursday August 23.
It’s not clear when or where RAW will air on that date, but it is expected to be a live event.
The live event format is likely to have the most impact on Raw’s ratings, which have been suffering with the absence of WWE Network in recent weeks.
In recent weeks, the network has been heavily promoted by WWE and its main stream partners.
The company is now reportedly in talks to sell its streaming rights to Fox Sports, which would allow it to pay the same amount per week as other sports networks, and could allow the company to build a stable of original programming.
But that may not happen if WWE can’t find a way to maintain its viewership.
If you are a WWE fan, you have probably seen the network’s latest storyline, titled ‘Crown of Stardom’, which features a series of clips from WrestleMania 30.
In the clip, a character named “Crown” is shown talking about how WWE is taking a risk by introducing a brand new wrestler into the company.
It appears that WWE is making the risk pay off by taking a different approach to its brand and the company’s star-studded roster.
As we know, WWE has no plans to rebrand itself into the “WWE Network” anytime soon.
The network’s current roster of wrestlers includes a new star named Daniel Bryan, who will be making his debut on August 26.
But there is also a new wrestler named Cesaro, who was announced as the new face of WWE on August 6.
That is not a big surprise.
It has been rumored for a while that WWE would attempt to bring back former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and current NXT star Kurt Angle, but that has yet to happen.
As for the brand-new WWE star, we will have to wait and see what WWE will have in store for him.
In fact, it could be a few weeks before we learn anything about this new character.
As for the upcoming Raw, the only new faces on the card this week are Seth Rollins, who has been sidelined since being suspended for two months for a violation of the drug policy, and Dolph Ziggler, who is scheduled to face Alberto Del Rio on August 27 in New Orleans.
We’ll be sure to let you know when we learn more about the next WWE RAW and if there are any surprises to come.
